I haven't actually called the institutions themselves yet- I've just looked abound to see what deals I can find etc.
I have just spoken to the adviser my employer uses and he was very helpful, he is going to have a look over the weekend at what deals he can find and come back to me on Monday, but he also offered to speak to someone at Accord on my behalf to see if they could look at the application again as he has some contact there- I haven;t decided if I want him to do that yet- I'm going to wait and see what else he can find first...
I guess I should have listened to my boss and gone to him in the first place, but I had already started dealing with the first adviser by then...oh well we live and learn I guess!
and as for the searches damaging our credit file- the only one carried out so far is the accord one which is a "soft footprint" search so shouldn't be an issue right now...
fingers crossed for now xxIf you're afraid of the big bad Woolfe....beware of the Mrs!:rotfl:
