OOoh - have just had another idea - what about getting two sheets of celophane and in between putting a sheet of wrapping paper, tissue paper etc. before tying it up at the top? Would be hygienic but also festive.0

Lakekand sell little cellophane bags with Merry Christmas and holly on them, about £1.50 for 24 if my memory serves me right....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

You could also buy a pretty cheap/charity shop tea cup and saucer and fill it with fudge and wrap in cellophane and a bow, or if your dad is a gardener a new clean painted flower pot and do the same thing, or use any pretty/useful receptacle relevant to the recipient's hobby/lifestyle.

Hi, I've bought these cello bags at £1.20 for 10 for my HM fudge pressies. There are some others that are £1 for 10 so even cheaper. The P&P is £1.75 but there's loads of great stuff on the site.:smileyhea0
