Best 27" TV?

I'm looking for a TV xmas pressie for myself, and a 27" seems to be the best for the sized room I have. I have a bit of a problemo though, there are simply too many and I want to get the best value for money. I'd like to spend below £500, hopefully between £150-400. HD TV is a must, with a really clear picture for me to play my xbox 360 on.Great sound will be ideal too, but what tv doesnt have great sound?
I have a freeview box too, would this be able to connect to a HD TV with a normal scart socket?
If anyone has had the time to reply to this, thanks :beer::beer::beer:

something like this should see you right, it has freeview built in so unless you have a freeview PVR you dont need your freeview box anymore (or use it with a VCR to record a channel while watching another), but it has 2 scarts, also 2 HDMIs for HD input and Component for if your xbox doesnt have HDMI output. (also is full 1080p HD not HD ready 720p)
I can only hazzard a guess but the sound should be perfectly good.
defo dont want to spend too much as you can get deacent 40inch tvs for around £500
