Hi
Im in the middle of decorating a plasterboard wall in my bathroom and removed a wall mounted electric heater which was unpainted and uneven underneath. I used some pre mixed poly filler to smooth over the patch and let it dry before sanding it silky smooth.
I painted it and this patch just peeled as soon as the roller went over it, looks like the filler just wont stick!!
Any ideas whats the problem here?
Many thanks!

you could try getting some feb bond, mixing a little with water and painting this onto the area. let it get tacky then fill with the pollyfiller, this should help.0

take the filler out and make sure its clear behind with no loose bits or dust. Then fill again. If its a bit crumbly then try painting on some watered down PVA first.0

PVA is unlikely to help TBH unless the substrate is absorbent. If its a painted surface then the PVA will not be absorbed and just sit on the surface. When it gets wet it goes "live" again and provides no adhesion.
