I have just had my father in law on the phone,
he has seen an advert on the tele, saying you can post a diy job online and people will respond to say if they can do the job and give a price.
Does anyone have any ideas or even better a link.
He has an intergrated microwave that isn't working, the compnay haven't responded given them 3 weeks and doesn't know where else to turn.
Any help
thank you michelle

Most of these sites charge the tradesmen I asked in summer for a job didnt even get one reply, waste of time
I do it old fashioned way and get quotes0 -
I'm pretty sure it's my www.myhammer.co.uk but for a home appliance I'm not sure that's what you need. It's more for tradespeople I think.
first port of call could be the manufacturer - even if it's out of warranty they have people that can fix them. Or our local Euronics store has men that fix things like that as well.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

It could be Mybuilder.com but i'm not sure people on there deal with home appliances. Your best bet is to look on Yell.com and search for someone in your area that services and repairs appliances. Here is the web address anyway........

And the one where you post your problem and get quotes is
http://www.mybuilder.com/To be in your child's memories tomorrow, be in their life today.0 -
Unless it's a high end appliance, a built in microwave would be about £250 at the most to replace. Now considering a tradesman would charge for call out, the sourcing the part or parts (they're unlikely to have it on them), the part or parts themselves, labour to replace, I would not be surprised to find the cost to be the thick end of £200. If I were him, I would consider buying a replacement.
