Contents Insurance - lodger status

Can anyone help with where I can purchase contents insurance as a lodger in my Gran's house? She is in her 90's and we have moved into the upstairs of her house - we share the kitchen and bathroom and pay rent. I have no idea where to start as most companies only see to 'like' home owners or tenants. Thanks

I'd have thought an ordinary policy to cover the whole house would be fine, grandson living with grandma is still family and if the child contributes to household expenses then that's just the same as every other young person contributing to the costs of where he lives, even if normally to parents0
