Hi Guys,
New user here seeking a bit of advise. I am from the North West and was wondering if anyone has any advise on reliable places I can go to get my iPhone 3g 8Gb screen fixed. I dropped it foolishly and the screen basically shattered:mad:. The touch screen still works fine, but the front glass isnt. Any ideas would be welcome guys.
Thanks

Hi, our son has cracked a couple of screens and my husband bought a replacement each time from ebay then watched a couple of videos from you tube which show stage by stage how to do it, its very simple and will only cost you between 8-10 if you do it that way, if you have damaged the screen underneath the glass you can replace that too using the same method. Good luck0

I did the same thing a few months ago. There was a local shop called 'The Phone Doctor' I took it there, he sent it to Apple. Took about a week and cost £75. Unless you've got insurance, there's nothing much else you can do..Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. not a 3gs no, just a 3g. I have managed to get it sorted now tho. Local Store will do it for 35-40 pounds depending on the damage. Just gotta take it down on Saturday, 2 hours later it will be brand new (ish). Fingers crossedNo One I Think Is In My Tree.:cool:0
