She'll be able to get child tax credit, about £7500, as well as child benefit. There are no capital rules in tax credits. Income from the capital needs to be declared but as long as it's less than £16,000 she'll get CTC in full.0

sorry, i know nowt about tax credits! your friend won't get IS/JSA(IB) or HB/CTB for sure.I work in Housing Benefits however my comments are my own understanding of the law / procedures and you should also check with your local authority.0

The inheritance amount has also changed 3 times...first it was 100k , then 130k , then 140kThe loopy one has gone :j0
