What is this on my statement?

I actually got a payment into my account that i've no idea what it is, all the Bank can tell me is that it's in my name, it says the following

ISOS C/A

Any ideas?

what bank are you with? all my statements from many different banks have a key on the back or side explaining meanings like that.

Lloyds, but it's not one of those things, it's the actually person who paid it into my bank.

So if you paid Barclays credit card something that's what you would see, i think your thinking of things like BGC and DD

daz must have asked his bank as he said "all the bank can tell me is that its in my name".

The bank can check where the payment orginated from.

c/a probably stands for current account.... a quick google search for the company 'ISOS' brings up:

none of those are anything i would expect to get a payment from, i have phoned the bank and they say they can't tell me where it came from but it's a payment in my name
