Employment Tribunal - Equal Pay

I believe that I have a case for Equal Pay.
As the company claimed to have spent months creating a new grading structure and the other people on my grade are being paid up to 50% more than me it was suggested that I should claim under the Work Rated as Equivalent Value.
However this talks a lot about Job Evaluation Schemes. What is to stop the company saying that this new grading was not a Job Evaluation Scheme?
Unfortunately I am not in a Union and having now been unemployed for some months, £65.45 per week is not going to pay for Solicitors.
I am perfectly prepared to represent myself, however some advice and guidance at this initial stage would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I'm helping someone through this too but unlawful dismissal.
I would pay for 1 hour for legal advice to find out your strength case wise, then decide from their before you send a claim form in.
Then if strong, represent yourself.
Legal aid is a joke anyway, takes months to get 1 hour and that is not good enough, and too late for the claim form.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
