Bath Building Society Regular Saver Pays 6%
I have just set one up today, you need to invest a min of £20 per month via DD or Standing Order.
Sadly they only have branches in Frome, Somerset & Bath, B&NES so only good for locals, small independant building society with amazing customer service and care.
Take a look if its what you want.

Sorry, not the case. I've opened a Bath Regular Saver recently. Done everything by post, very speedy and efficient, more or less opened by return of post.0

It's not the case that it's only suitable for locals, as even if you live in Glasgow you could do the application all by post.
Mary - The account allows one withdrawl -without loss of interest- a year - if your intending to do this, will they send you a cheque as it's a passbook managed account?0 -
Ah right I see, thats cool didn't realise you could run it by post NICE :-)
Although I live in Sunny Frome so Its local.
They are a damn fine Society, yes the one withdraw can be a snag but me and my g/friend are using it as a rainy day savings fund, eg new household things, cooker, fridge etc."Don't panic just chill out and smile"
