  • Corr that has come round quick. :o

Maybe when you are working again there will be less time to look around at what you might do. I think you are going to have your hands pretty full there.

haha we are officially skint, bills paid but savings + whats left in current account is under £400 and that has to do fuel for 2 ars for the month, food, and a birthday party for DD1.. eeekkkkk :)

Positive pounts to this is we have a 3/4 full freezer, reasonable stocks of tinned items, some ap bread mixes for naan and white rolls plus muffin mix. I think with out meat stocks we an get away with buying very little this month.

Next month will be a similar story but we are away to haggerston castle again and not having a party to pay for.

other news is I have ancelled my phone contract as its not needed, work is happy that i use some of the free unlimited texts to keep in contact of have people call me on it so no need in another phone. £38.08 from quidco as well :)

    right focus, focus, focus....

I need focus and i need it now :)

Money wise we seem to be ticking along ok, i have about £21 left of this weeks grocery budget, I am experimenting by using cupboard ingredients and nipping to Mr A for just the one thing i need rather than doing a 'big' shop. I have half a tank of fuel which should do me about 250 miles and i do around 100 a week so i'm aiming to not fill up until DH gets paid on 27th so 3 weeks. I have no idea what the fuel situation is with DH, I am hoping it's good but i have a funny feeling he filled up middle of last month which would mean he will be getting low. Roughly a tank of diesel does him 4 weeks and a tank of deisel does me around 5.5 weeks unless we have been away on an outing somewhere.

Clothing DD1 and DD2 have plenty as long as they don''t grow. I need to have a clear out of drawers and wardrobes and charity shop or rag bin old, marked or too small things.

DD1 is at school 9-3.15 now, DD2 nursery 8.15-11:30 so its just me and the baby :) I am on a declutter mission and probably an ebay mission later on this month depending what i find :)

Well how is this for an update?? Decluttering is plodding along.. could be better. I really think i need to sell on ebay so need to look for a free listing day coming up (or start things at 99p) I have several 'occasion' dresses that realistically i will never wear again but hopefully someone might pay some decent money for. My car has around 80miles of fue left so I will not hit my target of not filling until 27th :( I am a touch disappointed but i have 10p off a litre voucher that expires the 25th so i will be using them :)

Focus is still a bit all over the place. I have a few things on the go that makes more than surveys but I grudge being 50-75% of the way to payout and not reaching it.

My main bead and finding supplier online is up for sale :( I am thinking of taking over, I am made I think but it is profitable enough and the biggest time constraint is sorting out bead orders into batches for sale. I am getting sight of the account this week so i'll make a choice then. It would mean approaching bank for finance or busting open the ISA

  • Lot's going on there then.

It sounds like you are doing better hon, and I do think posting more here helps. I always go scatty when away.

I will be like you next week and have my two at school, not quite as many hours, but i will get 1 and a half hours minimum a day to crack on, and so much to do.

The business sounds really interesting though could be quite a lot of sorting. Would you have all the stuff at home, or would you end up with the stuff needing to be stored elsewhere? I think it would drive me mad having it all at home.
  • It would need to be stored at home.. we are semi lucky that our attic is a partial conversion, It has the RSJ's in place but looks like a project they ran out of cash on. Currently its the old pull down climb up lader thing but i am wondering the viability of installing a proper staircase and then working from there. I currently do my jewellery from bedroom so have stuff in wardrobes up there.

Hubby really is not happy at work just now, long hours and the pay is ok but he really has to work for it. If he was debt free I suspect he would be chucking it and getting agency work but with his debts plus mortgage etc he just can't.

I am getting a bit focused on the 'prize' of being MF again. I feel I *waste* time on things that are a bit silly. Surveys for the most part. Some like PC or another that starts with Q are decent at £3 a pop or £5-£10 amazon vouchers but the vast majority like PP are not.

No idea what i will do.

Well our MF plans may of hit the buffers. DH was made redundant on friday. PILON rather than working so he has been under my feet for the last few days. He is paid up to January and has redundancy pay too.

He spend Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday working on the outlines of a business plan and then today he got a call from someone her knows offering him 2 days work covering for a bloke who just had the snip and can drive so he was away out this morning back to regular work. Looks like they may have a permenant position too so I have emailed his CV to them toay while he has been working with a view to him having work after we return from a week in Praia de luz (fly monday) visiting some friends who live there for a cheapo MSE holiday (158 for us all flying). So if that comes off even although he will get bashed with tax we will have maybe 3k to fling at mortgage, if not he is paid until January plus we can cope bills wise with just me working but making the sizable overpayments to mortgage or bits into savings will not be possible.
