We purchased our dyson from eBay reconditioned for about £45 Buy-it-now a few years back. It was a DC04 with all the bits that comes with it.
Im sure the guy was probably collecting them from the council tip, but it was clean, and worked very well.
Very easy to replace the belt when the wife hoovered up socks etc that jammed it, and good to break down and clear any pipework blockages.
Definately get another one, as they seem to do the job very well.0
