    Speak to the police definitely.

    Something is clearly not right.
  • I was woken up one night by the police battering down my neighbours door. We thought he was about to be arrested for something but it turned out that his Mum had been trying to call him for a few days and he'd not answered or called back so she'd thought something had happened and called the police.

They were fine about it, possibly better than he was when he got back from a night out to find that he had no front door!

I'd say to call the police, even if you just called the local station to see what they recommend.
  • Have you tried calling your local hospital to see if either has been admitted. I'm with other posters, I'd call the local police station.
You sound like a great neighbour. They're lucky to have you.
I hope all turns out to be ok.

Phone the police, this is no time to speculate what might or might not have happened to them.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

    Thank you all : )

Managed to find one of their relatives phone numbers in the phone book (didnt know neighbours surname, but found a letter with it on when i went to re knock on door and have a peek through the letterbox.)

Have called there relative and they are both in hospital - so at least they are 'ok' and being looked after. Really releived to know they are ok.

Good for you in taking the initiative. Is the cat ok?
  • I'm so pleased to hear that they are ok :-) Thanks for letting us know.
