  • Genius... thanks for that... only problem was fitting the outlet pipe back in I pressed the solenoid piston in and promptly soaked myself! But very worth it for not having to buy a new shower! Thank you so much.

As mentioned in my previous post on this thread, I know this is easy to fix but i am observing that my shower is developing this problem repeatedly and with greater frequency. Does this mean i need to buy a new pressure relief device?

I found this part on ebay

I followed the instructions here and they worked absolutely perfectly. Major expense saved! Thanks
  • Have followed this advice and while the hose was pointing down in the bath the leak stopped. When the shower head was back on it was worse than before. Interestingly it also happened with the shower head off but the hose lifted up to where it would normally sit. Prior to this leak the shower kept running cold but the engine would seem to shut down and restart. My thoughts were a safety feature kicking in.the shower was fine until I fitted a new shower head. I'm guessing I will need to get an official aqualisa shower head but reluctant to spend if it could be something else. Any thoughts?
  • Just stumbled across this post....and glad I did. Saved me buying a new shower. Thanks, great help :)
  • Didn't have a clue why water was pouring out the back of the shower. Found and followed your very clear instructions. Thank you!:j
