I regularly import photos from my camera to laptop. It used to be that just the most recent pics I'd taken that hadn't been imported before were imported each time.

The last couple of times I've tried to do it (and also my DD with her camera) it wants to import every photo I've taken ie 454 intead of half a dozen. Last time I couldn't sort it, so ended up importing them all and deleting most of them.....which can't be right, can it?

Any solution in simple-speak would be gratefully received.

Thank you

Hey there, one way to do it is to not use the camera import software at all.

Simply hook up the camera to the pc - via cable.

And then close any import software it asks you to use.

And then if you go to your desktop screen, and click on 'My Computer'

you should see a list of drives, e.g. C drive, etc, one of these drives will be your camera. (It might even be named 'camera' etc)

Double click on your camera drive, now normally photos are stored within a DCIM file, click into that if you can see it (or it will be named 'PHOTOS' or something usually), and voila there are your photos.

Now you just need to copy & paste the ones you want to your hard drive, and you can select the ones you want to delete.

    Hope that helps!!!
