Hi there,
I am currently with British Gas on a duel fuel playing around £750 p/a.
A sales man from Scottish Power came round telling us we can save money so we signed up..we are still in our cooling off period so we can cancel if we wish.
Abit of research shows that nPower or EDF would be cheapest for us, with EDF giving us £100 credit and Quidco giving £80 cashback.
What i would like to know is which you think would be best for us? Are nPower or EDF planning on increasing there prices like BG are?? And if i am in credit with either company would i be able to claim it back with ease?
Thank You.

EDF increase in March next year, they are ok i am with them, i had a scottish power salesman today in morrisons telling me they are much cheaper than EDF and offering me a wall energy useage dial and £20 morrisons vouchers if i sign up, he was full of talk, contradicting himself here and there and quoted me a standard £50 a month direct debit charge (even though i told him i used £50 per quarter) so i said no.
I think BG are raising peices now, and i think a better bet would be to fit some solar panels now as the whole energy thing is going to keep rising and rising, at least with solar you can sell what you don't use to the national grid.Owed out = lots. :cool:0 -
BG do a 'rent your roof' thing atm, they will supply and fit free solar panels which will save approx £152 p/a but they will claim all the clean energy cashback.
Do you think this is a good offer?0 -
