New Build Property - Need to Switch Utilities

Moved in 1st of July this year. Scottish Power is our default provider.
We received the first bill today:
£148.71 for Elec (1145kWh x 10.816p)
£31.86 for Gas (239kWh x 3.755p)
It seems expensive and a quick check seems to suggest EDF would be a lot cheaper, but need a 2nd opinion.
BTW, our cooker is Elec, hence the large Elec part of the bill, but obviously the central heating will be used more in the next few months.
Opinions please.

Hi Roland Flagg
From the unit rates you have posted I can see that there are considerable savings to be made if you agree to set up a monthly Direct Debit (with most suppliers). I would recommend contacting our sales team to find out the best tariff we can offer you. Get the unit rates and compare this to the tariffs being offered by other suppliers. Normally, an online account paying monthly by Direct Debit will offer you the cheapest rates.
Any questions let me know.
Kind Regards
