For anyone who's a keen thriller reader, The Book People are selling all 10 Ian Fleming James Bond books for just £10 (RRP £79.90).

10 Gabriel Garcia Marquez (incl Love in the Time of Cholera, 100 Years of Solitude) for £10 (tried this highly-acclaimed author and didn't like him, but mega discount nonetheless.
8 James Herriot's for £8
10 Ernest Hemingway for £10 - only just started these.
10 Sherlock Holmes (in a box) £10 - really enjoyed these.
10 Ian Rankin £10 - husband said they were ok
10 Miss Marple £10

The Georges Simenon (Maigret) books are lovely retro-style editions to mark 75 years. They would be a great Christmas present.

The Book People also do Red House and School Link for childrens books (there are kids books on Book People too of course) - School Link are currently doing 6 Moomintroll books for £7. I have never seen these discounted before. They are strange but wonderful books.

Oh Good Grief!!! For anyone who knows, I'm quite aware of the title of the James Bond book starting with the letters "OCTO"; but when I type it in, the board replaces it with exclamation marks!

See - there's someone out there who is sadder than me.....

Ian Fleming didn't write books for all 21 James Bond Film's so far (including the soon to be released Casino Royale). Without checking, I'd hazard a guess that the ten books are the only ones he wrote.

uh, Red? I'm just curious; who "did" write Casino Royale, then? The only book you couldn't say was "just" Ian Fleming was Thunderball, because that started life as a script between IF, Kevin McClory and someone whose name I forget .... Whittingham? Something like that. Anyway; it's not all the Bond books written by Ian Fleming; but it's a cracking deal anyway, and my thanks (literal and electronic) go to you for spotting it.
