They have been asking me to phone back in an hour since 9 am this morning. I feel like complete scum
Im going to try tax credits see if they can do an interium payment. My child benefit is paid monthly
They can do clerical payments at the jobcentre, so please don't let them fob you off. If you feel able to, call again and ask to speak to a team leader - the systems being down is not a good enough reason not to help you.
