  • car hire is your best option tbh, its the same side of the road as uk so quite easy.. i hate driving in birmingham but will drive fine there!

if you dont drive then an airport transfer will be cheaper than taxi.

A Prebooked private transfer is £213 for between 1 and 4 passengers with https://www.airporttransfers.co.uk. The last time I was in Cyprus a local taxi from Protarus to Episcopi was 100 Euro EW which is a similar distance roughly.
You can have a look at http://media.visitcyprus.com/media/Downloads/BUSES_ROUTES.pdf page 5 details bus from Paphos (Pafos) via Limassol (Lemesos) to Larnaca (Larnaka) airport but you must book in advance 14 Euro single.

We have always hired a car from elephant car hire they meet you at the airport and you just leave the car there when you leave, what you save on transfers pays most of the car hire, hope that helps.

houlos car hire, very straightforward and simple process, minimal red tape and competitive price. Email for a quote they usually reply pretty quickly.

I used elephant car hire too-they are excellent and you have an excess waiver, when you leave you just leave car at airport with keys under the back mat and thats it, no checking it out etc and if you dont have a credit card you can pay in cash!

Same as Houlos car hire, keys under the mat and you don't have to pay by credit card which is great because it's always a worry when overseas car hire places have access to your credit card details.

    Lovely laid-back trusting Cyprus eh?

well i got ripped off by hertz in cyprus years ago so last time i went i didnt want the same happening as when they have your card details they can do what they want basically. elephant car hires also a good choice for familys as they give free car seats and luggage racks which can bump up the price if you are travelling with three kids like i was.:T
