My brother & his family need to rent my flat for a couple of months, while his house is being renovated. Can anyone advise of any issues involved with this with regards to accounts, revenue etc.

What I forgot to mention was that I have been renting previously and am between tenants at the moment.0

What if I just let them live there for a couple of months for free?
I know that they will have to pay the council tax, water rates etc. as these were not chargeable while the flat was empty. I am struggling to think of any other issues at the moment.0 -
Free sounds like the best idea. If they choose to buy you a slap up meal or two as a thank you, I can't think that's anyones business but yours.0
