psp help ??

i just bought my son a psp for xmas it only comes with battery and mains charger...can anyone tell me what else i need to buy as all he will do will be play games and go online for games will it pick up my wireless connection ?? sorry i know absolutly nothing about these and what they do

you only need the games.

when you play a game it will give you the option of playing via the network and it will then auto. search for your wireless connection (eg it finds my belkin modem and then does the rest).

it might be worth buying a usb cable so you can connect it to your computer just in case he wants to watch films or play music. i think they are about a fiver.

You may also want to get a memorystick as this is needed in order to save your high scores in between games.

and mp3's, pictures and video (and flash games if it has firmware 2.70 or above)

have recently bought psp for my 8 year old son. seeing that the screen has no protection and him being young i had bought one of this

not only is it a metal case, it also has a plastic screen that covers the psp screen so it does not get scratched.
