  • If you are not happy about the collection charge, email him and say you won't be bidding due to the £5 fee. It might make them rethink their policy.

    That guy had a lot of reasons for being called a scumbag, and I'd say the least of them was the £1.49 collection fee.

    Yes that thread was completely different, the collection charge was shown in the p and p to deceive the buyer into thinking that was all it was cost. A reading of the long boring terms and conditions actually showed the delivery charge as much much higher. The argument on that thread wa snot for th ecollection charge, ot was for the attempt to deceive.

    Yes, sorry, I really should have re-read the thread myself rather than just mentioning it.

    I still think that the shop mentioned in the OP have been 'outed' for fee avoidence.

    But that's not really our problem.

    Until things go wrong and we lose out on getting the p&p refunded.
