Just received this email from Skype....
It must be a bargain dont you think?
Buy a little Skype Credit and Talk for Britain with six months of free SkypeOut calls to UK landlines, when calling from within the UK
Note: To qualify for the offer, Skype Credit must be paid for via PayPal or with a UK-issued credit card with a UK billing address. You’ll also need to be signed into the Skype software while buying credit. Broadband internet connection required.
I think you have to buy £10 credit (minimum)
Sometimes things that are too good to be true...are often the case.
Your views please..
Kind regards
Clare

3p (4p from 23/10/06) and 4p respectively but the point's the same.robert_harper_2000 wrote:are there connection charges? as 1899 or 18185 are only 3p for connection otherwise freeTime has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
I have tried Skype out to landline and the sound quality was not as good as skype to skype or proper voip or 1899 etc.0

If you only make Evening and Weekend Calls to Uk Landlines, you would be better off using Primus Saver 2 for free. No 6 month time limit. No credit needed. Just need a BT line.0
