Can someone give me advice to what i should do now? I received a parking ticket in the post a while ago for parking in a company car park. As i wasnt the driver I followed Martins advice and sent them a letter (recorded delivery) stating that I wasnt the driver and couldnt tell them who was. I used the template. since then I have had 2 letters from them saying if I didnt pay they would take me to court. each time I followed Martins advice and told them nicely, to stop hassling me. I have now received a letter from COURT PROCEEDINGS LTD saying they have been instructed by UKCPS Ltd to take court action if this wasnt settled within 7 days and that costs would exceed £325.00 What do I do now?

Don't be mislead by the name "Court Proceedings Ltd." It's nothing to do with the courts. In fact it's a tin-pot debt collection agency that operates out of a rented room in Oxford Street, London. That letter (see the letter list above) is just part of their stupid scare tactics which won't come to anything. UKCPS and Court Proceedings Ltd are the lowest of the low. Everyone on here holds them the deepest contempt. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Thanks for that. these letters do really seem like a threat. i didnt know if i should just ignore it or if i should reply and tell them im not paying but the phone number is a premium rate number. I guess they make money on that too0

Please just ignore this scum. Do not waste a stamp or your phone bill on them. They are beneath contempt.Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!0

Unless you get an actual court letter (extremely unlikely) signed, dated and stamped do not worry. If you do come back. We are confident we won't hear from you.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

If you weren't the driver report it to https://www.actionfraud.org.uk.
It is fraud to demand money off someone by sending out false invoices and threatening letters.0 -
Court Proceedings Ltd were only incorporated in May of this year and their CCA licence application was received by the OFT on 13 August 2010. It remains pending. Their application specifies that 81, Oxford Street, W1 is not only their registered office but also their correspondence address and their principal place of business. Given that there would appear to be a reasonably obvious link with W. Yorkshire based on publicly available information (and beyond the fact that that is where UKCPS are based) one wonders if they actually do conduct their business in Oxford Street? My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
Quite simply really OP, continue to ignore.

You may have Peter or Cordelia or whoever they call themselves popping up with a list of so called UKCPS-V- Mr Blooby CCJs to show that they do win court cases. Unfortunately most of these seem to have been won in their own imagination.
They pop up with these but still haven't answered why they were ejected from Oldham. Any info Trolls??0
