i am going on holiday to jamaica in june. i was wondering if i cancelled it would my bank of scotland travel insurance cover it? i have the ultimate reward current account. if i cancel it with thomas cook i will lose the £400 deposit but i just had a look at the bank of scotland travel insurance book and it says - cancellation cover. does this mean i will get the deposit back if i claim the cancellation cover trough the bank?

Only if you cancel for an insurable reason as stated on your policy such as accident or illness.0

Why not read the cancellation cover section of the policy?0

what is the reason for cancelling? as mentioned above, it will only cover if it's an insurable reason, and not just because you dont want to go.I used to be a Travel Agent Used to be a travel agent for 23 Years, but now out of the industry. However I will help with what i can.0
