my partner has worked for past 6 years but is being made redundant.he will be claiming jsa contribution based.its says
As you may be eligible to claim the income-based component of Jobseeker's Allowance, your partner must agree to your claiming benefit for him/her. Does your partner agree to your claiming benefit for him/her?
im on incapacity benefit so dont want to be on the claim should we say no to that part any help be great

He should say yes to that, as he (both of you) will be assessed for Income Based JSA which will give access to other benefits. As long as he tells the truth he can put a claim in for anything.0

If you don't want to be on the claim answer no, then your partner will put in a claim for contribution based JSA. The advice given is very good though as income based will give access to other things.0

Yes, it's one benefit. The only possible repercussion of claiming both is that the applicable amount will exceed the personal allowance.0
