HP Printer problem

I have a new Lenovo Laptop ( courtesy of my Tesco Reward vouchers). I have a problem with installing my HP 1215 All In One printer. I seems to have installed but I keep getting a Printer Error message when I send a page to print. Any Ideas?

might seem like a silly answer but in the program you are trying to print from if you go to file -> print... -> page setup (something like that is it set to a size that the printer can handle

our printer at works goes mental if its not set to A4 sometimes its set to 'letter' and it hates it

HI, Is it set as your default printer?
could also need to set the printer within the programme you are using

AAAAARGH another HP printer software problem - I hate them with a vengence - buy an Epson ! I have good reason; lost all my personal files, photos and music once due to HP printer software - uninstalled it and it lost all my stuff as well. The printers are shoddy and weedy .... sorry but I really have a phobia with HP.

Lost all your files due to printer software????.Are you sure the problem wasnt between the chair and the desk????....Ive had HP printers for more than ten yrs and all I ever have to do is load it with paper and change the cartridges.....To me Epson are cheap and nasty,rather have Lexmark or Kodak before them....
