    Is that the Royal We...?
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

  • As a business owner, I hope not. I don't think that many people are genuinely interested anyway, if they want to watch the wedding, let them take a days leave. Otherwise it's just an excuse to skive off for a day.

Considering I charge my clients a daily rate and therefore don't get paid if I can't work, I hope not! Trivial event anyway.

Claim double time coz its a public holiday!

They'll probably get married on a Saturday, so unlikely for many of us.

I think the aristocracy usually marry midweek.

    I won't, I'm retired so don't work.

I think I'll book a holiday abroad at that time to get away from all the hysteria.

I happened to be on holiday in this country when Charles and Di got married and the holiday park practically shut down for the duration of the ceremony so this time it will be abroad.

They reckon that about a third of the world will watch the wedding so you will have to pick your destination well. :j

There was a bank holiday for Charles and Diana's mid-week wedding back in '81.

    (yes I am old)

Don't think so as I remember working that day (central govt) and someone brought a portable TV in so we could watch it.

Charles & Diana wedding was a bank holiday, Andrew & Sarah wasn't.
