    Try this one:-

    http://www.johnlewis.com/Audio+and+TV/DVD+and+Video/DVD+and+Video/Freeview+Boxes/98/230197806/Product.aspx

It's not cheap, but it's good and you get a two year warranty from John Lewis

I got one of these recently from Amazon for £24.99 and found it easy to set up and use and there have been no problems with it. Other Amazon customers seemed to rate it more highly than other more expensive boxes.

  • Well, we have three but only one of them gets a signal. A friend bought a new TV which had the free view installed so he gave us his old box and it is great. So then we decided to have it in the bedroom and bought a new box, this told us it could not get a signal so we took it back thinking is was a duff one. The replacement could not get a signal either - meanwhile the one from the friend is still working. We even took the our friends one and tried it in the other TVs and they all work with it. The one from our friend is a Dauwoo or something like that (not in front of it right now).

If you use BT, remember they are bring out BT Vision in the near future. You will get freeview with them. Not sure if they are going to charge for the box, but you would get all free to air plus TV on demand.

I have had 3 freeview boxes. The first was more expensive, but the other 2 around £30 were very good. I don't see any difference between expensive or cheap ones!
