wel at the moment I have the Royalies Gold accound so paying £12 a month and TBH its not worth it at all.

Im now looking at changing to the Bank of Scotland Reward Current account and you get £5 if you play in £1000 every month so that would get me £60 every year

Then ask RBS in branch to change you to a none fee paying current account. Then follow it up with a letter sent to their customer services by recorded delivery threatening to report them to the FOS if they don't.

They will then change your account to none-fee paying one.

Even if you move your main banking to another bank it's always worth keeping an old bank account open and moving a few pounds in and out of it every now and again.

That way no bank can hold you to ransom.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

(If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)

...or the OP could just go to his local branch and ask to have a fee free account. Why threaten them with the FOS lol? No-one is forced to have a certain type of account *shrugs*

And OP, why are you paying for an account which you're not using to the fullest? Of course you'll be better off changing it!

    I do wonder sometimes.....:p
