Open Extractor Fan

I'm looking to clean out my bathroom extractor fan as it's clogged up with dust and cobwebs and isn't working as efficiently as it should. I can't work out how to open it and don't want to break it by forcing it.
Can anyone tell me if I'm supposed to be pulling the whole unit from the ceiling or simply opening the grill a bit like a trapdoor? Please see the photo below to get an idea of what I'm trying to describe.

I had a similar extractor on wall, from what I can recall the grill piece comes away(not the whole unit) On one side of it there should be a couple of screws(possibly covered in plastic 'blanking' tops. Unscrew these and the grill side should come clean off.0

Sorry to state the obvious, but please isolate the relevant circuit before removing the cover (and check that it is isolated). No free lunch, and no free laptop
