Boiler Change

I have a Worcester HeatSlave combi boiler. It is on its last legs.
I have 7 radiators ,underfloor heating in kitchen.
It is costing £150 per month to run plus £60 for a coal fire to save oil.
My boiler needs changing.I cannot increase combi size because space restriction in door way into boiler cupboard.
I have been quoted £3500 for new non combi boiler plus water tank.
Should I go ahead or scrap oil system and go electric.
Can anyone help.

No-one knows what will happen to oil prices, but electric heating is approx 3 times as much as gas CH, and still much more than oil.
Presumably you have no gas supply-have you looked at LPG?
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
  • No there is no mains gas to the village.I have not looked at LPG but I will do thanks
