Win an internet!!!!!! Almost spat a mouthful of tea out then! lolAre the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation? :cool:0 -
My argument is that people who do not want a overdraft facility should be allowed to have that right when opening the account, along with later down the line. On a full, normal current account, not basic account
Then the solution is simple. If you don't want an overdraft, simply run the account in such a way that an overdraft won't be needed. Then no overdraft would be used.
It's not that difficult a concept, surely? Open account, and ignore the fact that it's possible to run an overdraft, and run it as if it wasn't there.
(As you may have noticed, any complaints about banks allowing one anyway are pointless; without opening a restrictive account it simply isn't going to happen.)Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0
