Cheapest Car to insure?

Hello,
I know this quite a vague question, but any help would be appreciated!
I'm looking to buy a car, literally to drive about 6miles per day to get to a local train station. I would cycle, but the trip will be at 6.30am, up a hill and very dark, through a not so nice area - then a 30min train drive on a train which can only carry 2 bikes which must be booked in advanced - so the practicalities of this aren't so great!!
I only need the smallest, cheapest car imaginable. Purchasing the car isn't really the problem, as always its the insurance.
So ideas of cheapest car / insurer to go with would be welcomed.

anything under 1.0, my experiance is that young drivers tend to go for the SAXO or CORSA, low grp but then mod them out which then only bumps the insurance back up??? so do not be tempted by any of these, avoid the all the side skirts & spoliers & alloys etc.
Try going online and quoting with a basic Corsa,KA etc.0 -

or a classic car on a classic car policy.0 -

Surely an old 1 litre fiesta or similar. Just make sure it's the absolute bottom.0

Thought of a moped/scooter? Will be much cheaper than a car.
Cheap to do the CBT test, then a few hundred quid for a low milage pop-pop, £200 to insure if your not a 17 year old male (which i presume your not....) sorted...
