Snowmobile Insurance

I am an ex-resident of the UK now living in Gibraltar, and I've booked a trip with my family to Lapland over Xmas. However I've now been told that I need to arrange my own insurance for a trip on a Snowmobile as their insurance does not cover non-UK residents. I've tried in Gibraltar without success, but is there anywhere in the UK that I can get insurance for a non-resident for such a trip?

If it is nothing to do with covering the Snowmobile itself and is purely about covering liability, check with your travel Insurers. They might underwrite an extension in cover, if you know the cover you need to have.The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0

remember to take your driving license with you as you need it if driving a snowmobile in Finland
can't help you with the insurance but have a fab time in lapland, it is a wonderful place0
