Switch over period
Can anyone tell me whether it is till the case that if I switch at the end of my current contract I have to go on to standard rate until the new contract is in place? This has happened to me in the past when switching suppliers and could eat up any poterntial savings.

If i've understood the post correctly this isn't the case, in my experience you're on the chosen tariff with your existing supplier right up until you leave and when signing up with the new supplier they bring you in on the tariff you agreed during the sale.0
