  • Well done royal mail!!
I had one like that where I sent it just as the post office was closing, it got to London early next morning. I live way up North - I couldn't have driven it my self that quick. My feedback was 'Superman couldn't of got it here quicker', I was thinking it must of been superman because I don't know how it got there that quick.
On another note I sent a parcel 2nd class, that took three weeks!

Yup, good old RM, at least they do something right :).

I had that when I sold an old iPod speaker set.

Recorded though travels with standard mail, as it is standard mail so it would have got there that quick anyway.

I send virtually everything 2nd class and most arrives next day, I had just tthought the standard parcels went by a completely different delivery method and thta's why I was surprised a parcel costing £4.41 arrived so quickly.

Incidentally i was in WH Smith today where they have located our new main post office (not that I use them) they are closed and say the entire network is down. I'm not entirely sure i believe them, but it may help if people ae having to make a special trip to their post offices, you might want to check the computers are up and running.

    Thanks custardy.

When I take my parcels in they don't seperate standard parcels from standard mail but i noted reading the leaflets that the estimated delivery times are quite different.

I really don't understand it, but as long as it gets there quickly I don't mind!
