Shoddy car repair
Hello
I'm looking for a wee bit of advice if possible.
I bought a 5 year old Honda from a well-known dealer on 7th October. I discovered on 30th October there was water coming into the boot and pooling in the spare wheel well causing problems with condensation etc.
I brought the car back to the dealer and picked it up after they said the problem was fixed. I (stupidly) took their word for it, assuming they'd repaired the sealing (or whatever the issue was) but found today that water is still coming into the boot - all they did was drill a hole at the lowest point in the boot so water's no longer collecting. The damp is still a nightmare, in the morning's especially with condensation and sometimes even ice inside the vehicle.
I'm pretty new to dealing with this sort of thing (this is my first car) so would appreciate any advice.
Is drilling a hole beneath the spare wheel a common or acceptable fix for water ingress in the boot? Am I right to be angry that they seem to me to be trying to pull the wool over my eyes rather than fix the fault?
Would I be within my rights here to reject the car under the Sale of Goods Act as not in satisfactory condition and claim a refund or have I left it a bit late? Should I (or do I have to) let them try and repair it again, even though I have no faith in their ability/willingness to address my concerns with the car?
Cheers!

No,
Take it back and tell them to seal the hole and fix it properly.
If they can't take it somewhere that can and claim costs through the small claims court.0
