When to change Eon Tariff

Options
I'm currently with Eon and on their FixOnline V3 tariff which ends on the 1st December.

After looking at all my options I am going to change to their SaveOnline 4 tariff.

I would like to change on the 1st December to keep my discounts, but has anyone heard when they are likely to pull the plug on this deal?

I want o hang on as I don't want to lose my final quarters discounts.

cheers

Your discounts will be applied up to the date you change so you will only lose 2 weeks of the old discount if you change now and not the whole period.

    Hi sam007 and gottohaveit,

molerat is correct, you will receive the discount for FixOnline 3 up until the date that you change the tariff, once the tariff is changed you will receive the discount for SaveOnlin4 (if this is what you change to).

In regards to pulling the plug on the tariff, we don't know if or when that will happen, as I'm sure you know new tariffs are launched all of the time and others become unavailable.

If I can help any more, just let me know.

If you can email me an hour before it is pulled, that would be great!

Does leaving FixOnline early for SaveOnline trigger the £30 penalty?

I was thinking the same thing but when i rang up they say it only triggers if you go to another company

Hopefully Helena will clear this up

    Hi Guys,

You may have seen in other threads that in the T&C's it states that if you come off a tariff/change supplier before the end date, you may be charged. (if this has a cancellation fee)

Other posters have advised that they haven't been charged this when just changing the tariff, but just something to be aware of.
