Underground and train compalaint: any point?

Piccadilly line was shut due to fire alert at Holborn was my understanding. We got caught up in at trying to go from KX to Gloucester Road.

Initially announced as affecting eastbound only but quickly affected both.

ah was it fire? we got told on the central it was signal and a train break down.

If you (or anyone else reading this) is in that situation, post (or phone a family member/friend asking them to post) on http://fares.railforums.co.uk asking for advice at the time, and the chances are someone will usually be able to check and reply within about 20 minutes or so. Of course nothing can be guaranteed but I'd say it's a good bet.

They can look up fares, timetables, and check for any disruption that is occurring.
