Does anyone know how much savings you are allowed when claiming income support

    Between £6000 and £16000 anything over 6000 is deducted £1 for pound for every £250.

    Anything over £6,000 will affect your entitlement. Anything over £16,000 will cease your entitlement. Each £250 (or part thereof) over £6,000 will lead to a £1 per week deduction in your entitlement.
