from npower/BG to 1st utility, is it better to switch via a comparison site or with the company directly?
I would say without doubt go through a comparison site and also check to see if you can save further by using a cashback site after you have got your comparisons for your usage.
Now for my next suggestion , I would check out what other people have said about First Utility before you do anything, there are plenty of posts on here about shocking customer service, billing problems, sudden price hikes etc concerning F.U.
And that is just on this site in the forums, then if you are not entirely convinced then go and check on other consumer type forums/comparison sites for a further avalanche of complaints against them .
Believe me they are in a league of their own .
Do not be tempted by a cheap price now which will disappear out of the ratings in a few months time, AVOID F.U at all costs.0 -
Don't think i've heard/read a single good thing about that company.0
