You can ask the DWP, though it would be worth waiting until you receive your award letter to ensure they have received it back.

    HI
They will contact you soon and when the letter comes it ill contain a copy of your medical,
If you dont agree with how many points they have given you then you can apeal.
Try not to worry to much they will write to you soon. These things take time so dont waste that time sitting there worrying
:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j

The medical report is not sent out with the decision letter, however the letter will state where the claimant 'scored' points.

Can I ask, once you have sent in your ESA50, how long before a decision is made to wether you carry on as before, or need to be seen etc, and then if you need to be seen how long for that.

Worried i am going to need to be seen by atos and concerns over the fact i probably will 'pass' and loosing money over christmas..

It could be anything from a few days to a few months. If you need a medical the next letter you will receive will be an appointment.

If you are turned down, if you let them know you want to appeal as soon as possible, and you will be paid ESA still at assessment rate.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that

Thanks, I've been reading that as long as you tell them that you wish to appeal then you should be paid basic rate.

What is the 'correct' way of telling them, telephone, letter or email?

I filled out an ESA50 last year, and was never informed in writing what points i had or the result, the only way i found out was my money went up, when i called i was told a letter was sent to me, i asked for another as i had not received this said letter, but never got that one either, would of liked to see what they had put.
