Hi all - I am wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. I am looking to open a savings account and intend saving for about 5 years on a regular basis. I want an account that I either can't touch or would need to give a notice period for withdrawals.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nationwide offer a champion saver account which is 60 days notice. Not bad interest at the moment. 2.55%. This come with a passbook so you can see it building up. Maybe you could look at some regular savings accounts aswell. Some are paying around 4%! hope u find a good one for you.Total Mortgage OP £61,000Outstanding Mortgage £27,971Emergency Fund £62,100I AM NOW MORTGAGE NEUTRAL!!!! <<Sep-20>>0

Have you opened a Cash ISA yet this year? That would be a way to save as it would be tax free. Although most have instant access, which you dont want, the concept of it being an ISA may stop you withdrawing moneyMSE is a religion and the Arms is its Temple:money:

Best deal would be First Direct Regular Saver at 8%. Only in a years time, when it finishes, do you move it somewhere else - possibly an ISA.0
