There's so many falsehoods and assumptions going around about this that people are getting all het up over what is really a minor thing.

Basically the software runs only whilst ur in a server, collecting data about which adverts appear in ur crosshair...it doesnt run any other time.
Justifiably its caused uproar, and the company thats supplying the adverts also did it with counter strike until the developers pulled the plug due to its dubious nature.
What gets me is that game retailers wont accept rturns on PC games and theres no warning until you open the box that any other software has to be installed....surely thats got to be illegal
Oh, and the gameplay is quite possibly the most boring i have ever played - its effectively a mod for bf2 thats less fun than the original...no imagination or upgrades to graphics or gameplay. Poor show from EA i'm afraid. Want a decent online shooter then battleield 2 or call of duty are still the way forward
