I got an email from HBOS offering me 9 months balance transfer at 0% today and thought I will take them up on their offer.
I already have a small-ish balance on my HBOS credit card but can't recall if they've changed their order of payments yet. Anyone know?
If they have, then obviously it'll go in my favour and I can go do that BT.

Dont respond to an email though, contact them yourself.
I had 2 emails from Halifax yesterday saying that my internet banking has been suspended becuase I had given wrong log in information and asking me to confirm my details.
I ignored it and deleted it. Last night i logged in no problem. So it may be a scammake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

They've quoted the last four digits of my card and have also given me a code which states it must be quoted over the phone or entered on the online banking website so I'm sure it's genuine. We’ve had to remove your signature. Am I right in thinking that this the deadline to change it?
I'm a bit surprised to be honest if it is and the banks are stepping up the date themselves. If you think of it as 'us' verses 'them', then it's probably your side that are the villains.0 -

I get them all the time. Total Scam, thinks like "your HSBC account has been suspended"
Quite frankly I would hope so I don't have a HSBC account. These scammers must think everyone is stupid. Send anything like this to your spam box.Iva started Dec 2018.0 -
Does anyone know if this applies to all banks I have had confirmation from Lloyds but am tempted by an HSBC 0% offer but I have a balance and would only benefit if it does.
ThanksMARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035
EST DFD JAN 2021 (that needs to change)
NOW JAN 2019 (that still needs to change)0 -

I believe that the deadline to change by January applies to all banks, but the letter referring to the 20th of November specifically applies to Halifax cards, and maybe only to those who have received the letters. If you think of it as 'us' verses 'them', then it's probably your side that are the villains.0
