I have a 1gb memory stick in my Sony camera.
I can only transfer about 20 photos before the batteries in my camera die (there is nothing wrong the with the batteries). Is the memorystick useless, or is this normal and I should get a card reader?

take everything u need off the memory stick then format it,. see what happens, if u had it for some time it could just be the card has had it,.
some ppl say defrag/ helps the card read faster,. but the manufacturers say its a big no no,.0 -
Thanks, I only realised it was a problem the first time I tried to take the pictures off it a few hours before a holiday. It was a refurbed stick so I have a feeling it's that. At least with a reader, I can leave it taking forever, get all the pics off the camera and then reformat it.0
