  • hi, wonder if anyone can help - was thinking of getting the trainers for my niece & nephew for xmas, they will be 9-10mths at the stage - roughly what shoe size would they take (i usually buy big anyway).

    Very difficult to answer as feet vary in size so much at that age but I would say (from when I worked fitting babies shoes) the average size when they start to walk is UK 3-4 (although my dd was only a size 2 but small for her age), not really a good thing to put a child just starting to take steps into rubber soled trainers so maybe buy a size 4 or even a 5 they will grow into rather quickly once they are walking anyway.

  • Oh and I just got the L'eau d'Issey by Issey Miyake for £4.70!! I hope they don't notice I sent to it my brother and paid with my card which i used for a previous order but had it sent to mine and then used my mums card to order something else and sent to the same address! Too much time on my hands I think haha x
